Dr. Scott Pearl has been a board certified optometrist since 1984. He has provided countless exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. Dr. Pearl and his wife, Mary Anne, recently relocated to the Jacksonville area from South Florida where he ran his own Optometric practice for over 30 years. Dr. Pearl completed his Certified Residency in Pediatric Optometry at the prestigious Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985.
Dr. Pearl was President of the Dade County Optometric Association as well as the Florida Optometric Association. He remains active in organized Optometry.
Dr. Pearl is our in-house Pediatric and Myopia Management expert. His goal is to keep kids from becoming increasingly nearsighted so that they can visually live their lives to the fullest.
Dr. Pearl has guest lectured and taught the Certification Course required to fit Paragon CRT Orthokeratology Lenses to practicing Optometrists at several Optometric meetingsas well asto Fourth Year Optometric students at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry where he also served as adjunct faculty in the Pediatric Clinic for several years.
Dr. Pearl works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Pearl's experience and dedication to continuing education that our patients will receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
