Board Certified by the Florida Board of Optometry. Dr. Powell is a graduate from Terry Parker High School, Stetson University and Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. After completing Externship programs at Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami and Southern Eye Institute in Jacksonville he began his practice.
Dr. Powell is a member of the Florida Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and the local Northeast Florida Optometric Society.
A native of Jacksonville, born and raised, Dr. Powell is enthusiastic about being in his home community to provide high-quality eye care. He has put his energy into taking exceptional care of his patients for over 17 years.
